The RV-F series presente a highly dynamic 6-axis articulated robot with a high degree of quality and reliability. The double arm structure not only provides an advantage in terms of freedom of movement, but also more stability and versatility. Depending on the model, the robots are prepared to withstand loads of 2 to 70 kilograms and working distances of 504 to 2055 millimeters. Working in confined spaces, and installed in the wall or ceiling, is no problem for the RV-F series. Cycle times of 0.32 seconds, increase the productivity of the manufacturing process and allow the use in high-speed systems. All systems up to 20 kg have the same controller, the compact CR750. HMS features a new and updated version of the popular Anybus Wireless Bridge. The Anybus Wireless Bridge II supports reliable wireless communications, up to 400 meters and can communicate via Bluetooth or WLAN. The result: the STR1. Mission accomplished! The Sick´s STR 1 transponder safety switch has monitored semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) and can be safely connected either individually or in series. It can be used for applications where a high level of manipulation protection is required. The STR 1 is available with three codes. Universally coded sensors accept all actuators. An actuator must be taught into both the uniquely coded and permanently coded variants; this is the only actuator that the STR 1 then accepts. The sensor has three active sensor surfaces. The actuator comes in three different sizes. This allows the STR 1 to offer maximum mounting flexibility.

The diraTRON is the newest compact universal controller family from Jumo. With 5 DIN formats, controls temperature, pressure and other process variables.   The diraTRON are characterized by a simple, clearly structured operation, supported with texts. Process values are represented by two 18-segment LCD displays. The types 702112, 702113 and 702114 are additionally equipped with a pixel matrix LCD display for displaying text. In addition, all devices have individual display elements for the switch positions of the outputs as well as for manual mode, ramp function and timer. The devices are operated using a membrane keyboard with four buttons and can be used under harsh environmental influences thanks to the high IP65 protection type.    Depending on the hardware design, the devices can be used as two-state controllers, three-state controllers, three-step controllers, or continuous controllers. The basic type includes auto tuning, a ramp function, a program controller, manual mode, limit value monitoring functions, digital control signals, extensive timer functions and a service counter. A math and logic function is also available as an option. Furthermore, the user has the option to create his own application using structured text (ST code). The devices can be conveniently configured using a PC with the help of the setup program (incl. program editor and ST editor). No separate voltage supply is required when configuring via the USB interface (USB-powered).

This Taiwanese manufacturer develops and produces cobots which are equipped with integrated vision as standard. Cobots are relatively inexpensive, can be utilised in a plug & produce manner, feature user-friendly programming and can be used without safety provisions. As a result, cobots can work both next to people as well as with people. Cobots are increasingly being integrated in assembly lines, for machine loading and other applications. The TM 5 cobots are the first cobots which are equipped with integrated vision as standard and as a result differentiate themselves in this market from other manufacturers. With this “Smart” function, the Techman cobots are able to recognize patterns and colors, locate objects, read barcodes, etc. This makes the Techman cobots highly suitable for the performance of precise tasks within a high-mix, low-volume environment. F.Fonseca will sell the TM5 cobots to integrators and automation companies in Portugal. For this, support facilities will be set up at the head office of F.Fonseca in Aveiro for inventory, demonstrations, (online) training and service. Techman Robot has a strong parent company and invests a large portion of its turnover in R&D. Since the introduction of the first TM cobots, the manufacturer has experienced a doubling of the annual sales of these units. Techman Robot has selected F.Fonseca as a distributor on the basis of an extensive orientation and selection process. The A 1532 EVSE adapter is a special accessory intended for testing Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) together with supported METREL installation testers. It is used for verification of electrical safety and functional testing of EVSE. It is intended for testing Mode 3 EV supply equipment with a type 2 connector. If used together with the MI 3152 EurotestXC’s AUTO SEQUENCE®, the complete EVSE charging station can be tested (state-by-state) electrically and functionally with a push of a button. MI 3152 EurotestXC is an instrument from the new generation of Metrel’s multifunctional measuring instruments.   The already well known functions like complete installation safety testing according to IEC/EN 61557 and auto sequence testing of TN, TT and IT earthing systems are managed by a completely new user interface based on large color touch screen display. A wide range of functions is included: from on-line voltage monitoring, phase sequence testing, earth resistance measurement, illuminance measurement and TRMS current measurement up to RCD tests, line and loop impedance tests and earth resistance measurements.

With the new era of IoT and the need of gateways to send the acquired data to the Cloud, Advantech has launched the new palm size UNO-2272G Embedded Automation Computer. É de coração cheio que a empresa aveirense F.Fonseca comunica que realizaram a doação de mais de 600 brinquedos numa campanha solidária que se revelou num verdadeiro sucesso. A campanha solidária “Leve um Nicolau a cada Criança” foi desenvolvida com o foco iminente nas crianças carenciadas e em como um simples gesto poderia fazer tanta diferença e gerar tantos sorrisos. Foi com esse objetivo e inspirados pela alegria que iriam proporcionar, que a iniciativa começou a ganhar forma. Inicialmente seria destinada apenas aos colaboradores, mas rapidamente ganhou asas e foi-se alargando às suas famílias, amigos, amigos de amigos, clientes, fornecedores, parceiros, conhecidos e desconhecidos. E foi graças à generosidade de todos que, entre 1 e 15 de dezembro de 2017, conseguiram angariar 624 brinquedos. Com a campanha a ganhar forma, depois de selecionar, arranjar, lavar, embrulhar, acondicionar e encaixotar os brinquedos passariam para a fase final: a entrega aos pequenos grandes destinatários. Felizmente o número de brinquedos que a F.Fonseca tinha imaginado inicialmente foi ultrapassado em larga escala, por isso não só ajudaram a associação Florinhas do Vouga, de Aveiro, como estava previsto inicialmente, mas também conseguiram apoiar a associação Ahma, de Albergaria-a-Velha. A F.Fonseca foi recebida de braços abertos e com imensos sorrisos, perceberam realidades mais tristes com as quais não estão habituados a lidar, realidades completamente diferentes de crianças verdadeiramente especiais. Conseguiram fazer gerar os sorrisos que tanto ambicionavam e que fizeram nascer a campanha mas sobretudo confirmaram, mais uma vez, que juntos fazemos a diferença. Solidarity campaign - 1 questionnaire = € 5   In the context of conducting the annual customer satisfaction questionnaire, F.Fonseca maintained the initiative carried out in 2016 for each questionnaire received within the deadline stipulated, it will be reverted € 5 to support Aveiro Red Cross.   F.Fonseca customers showed again great openness and receptivity, and the final result was quite similar to the previous year, a real success! Once again, our sincere thanks to our customers, making possible the materialization of this action, translated in a total of 655€.   The delivery of the solidarity check was symbolized, this time, at F.Fonseca facilities, on  2018 January 11th, in the presence of the President of the Red Cross Institution, Mário Martins da Silva and Carlos Gonçalves, F.Fonseca CEO, which reinforced the word given in the previous year and again showed great openness to continue embracing this kind of social initiatives that directly support our community.   This year we invited Mr. Mario, to get to know F.Fonseca installations, so that him can also perceive a little better our reality, initiatives and the company faces. A F.Fonseca vai realizar uma campanha de recolha de brinquedos até 15 de dezembro de 2017 com o intuito de apoiar a instituição Florinhas do Vouga neste Natal. Mitsubishi Electric is set to launch the latest addition to its FR-A800 and FR-F800 inverter drives in Europe this year. It is based on its FR-A800 and FR-F800 series variable speed drives with an integrated web server and 100Mbit Ethernet TCP/IP connectivity as standard. Ethernet connectivity as standard considerably lowers the cost of connecting this variable speed drive into an Ethernet TCP/IP environment. Engineers can use the Mitsubishi Electric FR‑Configurator2 software to search the network from a single location and easily identify connected FR-A800 and FR-F800 models. Direct Ethernet connection not only eliminates the cost of option cards, but also makes the set-up, monitoring and adjustment of parameters on an FR-A800-E more convenient. The integrated web server provides users with additional cost benefits by allowing them to fine-tune production settings and reduce downtime by connecting directly to the drive.  A standard web browser can be used to connect to the drive, either with an Ethernet cable, or remotely from anywhere in the world via a VPN. This connection enables convenient status monitoring and adjustment of the drive, as well as simplified diagnosis and improved response times for maintenance. Extending the FR-A800 and FR-F800 inverter series networking capability with on-board Ethernet as standard greatly increases the flexibility of the drive, as well as making connection to parallel networks simple. For example, users could select a dedicated industrial network protocol card to connect the drive into a wider automation network, and use the additional on-board Ethernet port for remote access or to link the drive to another device, such as a PC for quality control functions. Completing the almost universal connectivity options, compatibility with the latest 100Mb CC‑Link IE Field option is standard as well, in addition to the higher level Gigabit variants. The drive will also be launched with a dedicated App suitable for use with mobile devices including iPhones and iPads. The App will provide a wide range of control and monitoring options, from simple incremental forwards and backwards motor control - through to managing alarms and operating parameters remotely. The convenience this provides will be attractive for system builders, maintenance providers and end users while they are on the move, either on or off site.

New IoT gateways from HMS allow industrial equipment to communicate with power grids. The Anybus SG-gateway family is designed for Smart Grid communication and specifically target Demand Response (networking of industrial electric loads) and Virtual Power Plants (networking of energy resources like biogas plants or combined heat and power units) applications.   All the Anybus SG-gateways support the communication protocols used in the energy sector, e.g. IEC60870-5-104, DNP3 and IEC61850s. Sick's ultrasonic sensors allow you to detect and measure objects in a wide range of applications, on colored, bright or transparent surfaces, particularly difficult for optical sensors. Adverse ambient conditions such as dirt, dust or fog can hardly affect the measurement. A high measuring range allows you to monitor long distances with only one sensor, from 13 mm up to 8 meters.  

Solidarity campaign - 1 questionnaire = € 5   F.Fonseca, under the execution of the annual customer satisfaction questionnaire, had the initiative to revert € 5 to the Red Cross for each questionnaire received within the stipulated deadline.
