Climatic chambers KK-CHLT - Kambič

The Kambič KK-CHLT range consists of low-temperature climatic chambers for controlled temperature and relative humidity testing. The range covers five models - KK-68 CHLT, KK-190 CHLT, KK-340 CHLT, KK-500 CHLT and KK-1000 CHLT - with a temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C and a relative humidity range from 10 % to 98 %.

These chambers are intended for temperature and relative humidity-controlled testing, material temperature/RH resistance and product testing, sample conditioning prior to other tests, data logger and sensor calibration, accelerated ageing and stress tests.

Features
  • Five model sizes: approximately 68 L, 190 L, 340 L, 500 L and 1000 L;
  • Temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C across all listed KK-CHLT models;
  • Relative humidity range from 10 % to 98 %, with 0.1 % RH display resolution and 1 % RH set resolution;
  • Temperature display and set resolution of 0.1 °C;
  • Temperature control via PID with PT-100 sensor;
  • Relative humidity control by dew point RH control via capacitive RH sensor; extended range via dry air purge;
  • Humidity stability of ±0.3 % RH at 50 °C / 50 % RH and 90 °C / 90 % RH;
  • 7-inch capacitive touch-screen controller with program setup, program selection, measured quantities, status information and chamber light control;
  • KK-Tool PC software included with every unit, providing virtual control, real-time graphs, channel view and process history overview;
  • USB and Ethernet interface;
  • Stainless-steel interior chamber and galvanized, powder-coated aluminized steel exterior;
  • Standard observation window, Ø50 mm left-side access port, adjustable stainless-steel wire shelf and internal air circulation with speed control;
  • Two-level overtemperature protection: heating disabled at 5 °C over setpoint and mechanical shut-off at 10 °C above maximum temperature.

Advantages
  • Supports repeatable environmental testing by combining controlled temperature and relative humidity in the same chamber platform;
  • Covers low-temperature, high-temperature and high-humidity test profiles with one product family;
  • Allows chamber capacity to be selected according to sample size, load and laboratory or industrial testing requirements;
  • Improves process monitoring through the touch-screen controller, real-time PC graphing, channel overview and process history;
  • Facilitates sensor, probe and cable routing during tests through the standard Ø50 mm access port;
  • Supports visual inspection during testing through the heated observation window with LED illumination;
  • Improves day-to-day operation and serviceability through adjustable shelving, four-side maintenance access and heavy-duty swivel wheels with brakes;
  • Reduces operational risk associated with overheating through two-level overtemperature protection and a heavy-duty locking door mechanism.

Applications
  • Industrial R&D and quality control environments;
  • Manufacturing sectors requiring sample conditioning, accelerated ageing or stress testing before release, qualification or further testing;
  • Material resistance testing under controlled temperature and relative humidity;
  • Metrology and calibration laboratories;
  • Product validation and environmental testing laboratories;
  • Sensor and data logger testing or calibration.
