SUCCESS CASE
Templo de Salomão, the ambitious project twice the height of Christ the Redeemer, has become a landmark in world architecture.

The universal headquarters of the UCKG was built to be a replica of the first Holy Temple mentioned in the Bible, located in Jerusalem (Israel), which was destroyed twice in ancient times, most recently in 586 BC.

Completed in 2014, with a total investment of approximately 232 million euros, it was the first religious temple to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

Renowned lighting manufacturer Osvaldo Matos set out to create a screen with around 10,000 LED panels installed on the ceiling of the main hall, which has a ceiling height of around 18 meters. When in operation, the LED panels will form a variety of images, as well as being able to illuminate each visitor's Bible. With these specific features, it was necessary to develop a fast and secure connection system to supply and distribute energy and data to all the LED panels planned.

Osvaldo Matos' square-shaped DIM RGB LED panels will make the ceiling look like a single piece. Installed at a height of 18 meters, the panels will be connected in groups of 4, this group powered by an LED driver. F.Fonseca, together with Osvaldo Matos, developed all the specific wiring required and the corresponding gesis® quick connections for: from the electrical panel to each lighting circuit; driver to driver; and from the driver to each panel.
One of the important requirements for the DIM RGB LED system to guarantee its correct operation was the use of special cables protected against electrical interference between the power lines and the data lines. With this in mind, a 3x1.5mm2 + 2x1.5mm2 Liycy cable was manufactured with two independent 85% copper loops, connected to the ground pole of the gesis® GST18i5 quick connection system from Wieland Electric. In addition to manufacturing the pre-connected cables, it was also necessary to use specific GST18i5 distributors to ensure the plug&play installation of the entire system. The cables were executed by F.Fonseca and delivered to Osvaldo Matos Portugal, which prepared and tested all the lighting and electrical installation in Portugal, and sent the finished project to Brazil.

At a height of 18 meters, the installation was carried out as it should be: simply, quickly, safely and without errors.
