F.Fonseca presents FX5 - Advanced positioning control and "Simple Motion" from Mitsubishi Electric
The new MELSEC FX5 series is the next generation of successful compact PLCs for Mitsubishi Electric positioning control.
Advanced positioning control
The FX5U has integrated high-speed read inputs and pulse outputs. With special positioning programming instructions and blocks, the FX5 is designed to meet the toughest independent axis positioning applications using servo motors with high speed capability and high accuracy.
The FX5U features powerful new positioning features with 8 high-speed input channels (6 of 200 kHz and 2 of 10 kHz) and 4 200 kHz axis control outputs. The new positioning functions such as interrupt, variable speed and simple interpolation functions can be easily set up in tables and then executed, making the FX5U a positioning specialist.
Simple Motion Control
With the FX5-40SSC-S module the FX5U controls up to 4 axes via SSCNET III / H communication with Mitsubishi's servo drives. This card integrates special functions with 4-axis linear control capability and 2-axis circular interpolation.
In addition to simple positioning functions, the FX5-40SSC-S has the ability to perform a wide range of high-precision control functions such as advanced synchronous control, CAM control and speed / torque control. All this is available in a simple and easy configuration through parameters and direct programming in the PLC software.
The new MELSEC FX5 series is suitable for axis positioning, manipulation and synchronization applications. Ideal for the food industry, packaging, stone cutting and metal forming.
