GD10 gas detector – TELEDYNE Oldham
CO2 and explosive gases detection
These infrared gas detectors differ from all other models, because they utilize silicon based solid-state infrared sources. The complete optomechanical design and construction is so stable that an ultra fast speed of response can be achieved while providing unparalleled service life.
The GD10 series optical block is so robust, reliable and stable that it comes with a 15 year warranty, saving on maintenance costs and calibration services.

Simtronics GD10P infrared gas detector is the benchmark for combustible gas detection
Equipped with two infrared sources, using multiple beam technology, The GDP10 is so reliable that it doesn’t require any maintenance throughout its service life. Additionally, it has an ultra-fast response time (T90 <2 sec.), stainless steel construction, heated optics, 5 year warranty for the detector and 15 year warranty for the optical block, global certification and a HART communication protocol that make the GD10P one of the most used detectors in the oil and gas industry, for the detection of CO2 and combustible gases such as Methane, Biogas, Ethylene and other explosive gases.
Simtronics GD10PE, designed for critical applications in ducts
Derived from the GD10P, the GD10PE high-sensitivity infrared detector is the ideal solution for detecting combustible gases in ventilation ducts and gas turbines, where conventional detectors are not suitable due to their long response times and lack of sensitivity to trigger alarms in a short time.
With a measurement range of 0 -20% LEL, the GD10PE is 5 times more sensitive than conventional detectors.
The robust construction of the GD10PE includes an independently heated mirror and lens for high performance detection in rough environmental conditions and guaranteed continuous operations at 85°C which make this instrument suitable for turbine ventilation extract ducts.
Simtronics GD10P-CO2
The GD10P-CO2 has been designed with features that provide an effective response to the detection of CO2 in a wide range of industrial environments from boiler plant rooms to offshore petrochemical installations.
The GD10P-CO2 differs from all other point infrared gas detectors, because they utilise silicon based solid-state sources.
