Industrial multipole connectors revos EX - Wieland Electric
The revos Ex connectors from Wieland Electric are heavy-duty multipole connectors specially designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (e.g. in mining, chemical plants, and the process industry). The connectors are approved for use in intrinsic safety circuits (equipment group I) by the testing institute BVS (for zones where explosion protection is required).
Designed for applications in extremely rough environments, their housings are made of die-cast zinc to minimize the risk of sparking under mechanical stress. They also allow for modular configuration (choice of insert, hood, cable entry) and are suitable for reference standards in industrial automation and hazardous area installations.
