Single-Phase thyristor power controller TYA-201 - Jumo

Jumo’s TYA 201 is a single-phase power controller for the control of resistive and inductive loads.

The Jumo TYA 201 represents the consistent development of power control technology.

All parameters of the control microprocessor are visible on the LCD display and can be accessed via the 4 front keys. TYA 201 thyristors for load currents up to 32A can be DIN rail mounted or wall mounted with appropriate mounting plate. Depending on the configuration in the program, the power controller thyristors operate in phase angle mode, with adjustable current limitation or in burst mode.

In the burst mode, the phase angle of the first half wave can be cut so that the transformer loads can also be operated. During the control process, fluctuations in the mains voltage do not affect the unit to be controlled. The available subordinate control loops are U, U2, I, I2 or P control. The option to specify a base load is available. In phase angle mode, the 180 degree phase angle slowly decreases until a value set by the controller is reached. In this way, high emergency currents (softstart) are avoided.

The power control thyristors are in accordance with VDE 0160 5.5.1.3 (5/88) and VDE 0106 Part 100 (3/83). Devices must be grounded as specified by the power supplier.
