F.Fonseca Day gathered at Montebelo Vista Alegre Hotel about 300 professionals and clients.
 
On October 8 and 9, 2019, Montebelo Vista Alegre Hotel in Ílhavo opened the windows to the future of industrial technology. The 2nd edition of F.Fonseca Day brought to this space the latest innovations in the sector and received over 200 participants and 30 brands in the showroom of the event.
 
The first edition of F.Fonseca Day was the genesis of this idea. It was in 2015 that this initiative came up with the goal of F.Fonseca show itself to its customers and potential customers, outside a circuit of the fairs. “We created our own fair so that we could give proper attention to our customers, have a morning with themes we considered of interest, and have a fairly large showroom so that people could touch the materials, try them on, expose them. your cases and we can help solve them” explained Helder Lemos, Business Manager at F.Fonseca. “This second came in this follow-up, we always refined some points in order to achieve the same goals, show ourselves to our customers, show solutions they do not know, provide a pleasant environment and an active showroom and interaction that day by day it's impossible,” he added.
 
The second day of the event was one of the major developments over the past edition, because it was the attempt to expose this kind of industrial solutions to those who will need them tomorrow, schools, universities, polytechnics. The aim was to show to those still in their academic period that tomorrow they will have to live with these solutions and that “they are here, they are real. Here is the state of the art of industrial automation in the world” said Helder Lemos.
 
The period of F.Fonseca Day would tend to be triennial, although this edition has been extended to take place in the year that F.Fonseca celebrates its 40th anniversary, thus joining the wide range of activities carried out by the company in 2019.
 
Earlier this year F.Fonseca convened an internal working group that discussed what might be interesting to show and discuss with Portuguese clients. The themes emerged from a consensus that allowed on the one hand to show technological issues outside the industrial world, and other more industrial themes, more linked to robotics, maintenance, safety, vision, among others. "We see ourselves as the entity that moves technology from the world to Portugal, and we think this is essential for industries to modernize, providing them with easy and simple solutions that we propose," said Helder Lemos, adding that the whole organization of this The event was for the same purpose, to move technology.
 
“We had a clear goal of overcoming the tremendous success we had in 2015 and we achieved not only the number of customers and partners present, the number of companies that are our suppliers, and our showroom that we planned to be larger than in the previous edition.”
 
The morning seminars were followed by the driving lunch, providing guests with the historical and scenic surroundings that this Montebelo hotel group offers in Ílhavo. Direct contact with the latest technological developments was the subsequent highlight in the showroom, with the support of much of F.Fonseca's technical and commercial staff, which allowed the demonstration of the operation and performance of the various equipment exhibited on site, wants the clarification of any questions posed.
