New TYA-432 solid state relay from Jumo

F.Fonseca introduces Jumo's new TYA-432 Solid State Relay

Solid state relays are required for contactless switching of AC loads.
A typical application is switching inductive or resistive loads with a high switching frequency.

Jumo introduces a new improved series of solid state relays in a new, more compact design, specially designed for use in smaller control cabinets.

This type of product is mainly applied in the industrial sector in areas such as plastic packaging industry, air conditioning, heating technology and in the construction of industrial ovens.

The control and power sections are galvanically isolated by opto-couplers. The control signal area is compatible with the logic outputs of JUMO controllers.

The power section works as a zero voltage switch. As a result, switching takes place whenever the voltage goes through zero, regardless of when the control signal switches over, thus reducing network disturbances.

This relay is protected against temperature in several ways, made through an integrated heat sink to dissipate heat, as it is protected by the galvanic isolation of the output power circuit, which protects it against any problem in the input control circuit, as well as has protection through a varistor to protect against voltage spikes.

Wear-free relays increase the reliability of the machines they are installed on and also reduce maintenance costs and costs associated with downtime. Their impermeability to grease and moisture, even under extreme conditions, allows these relays to be used in the food industry.

These types of semiconductor relays or contactors are silent because they have no moving parts or contacts, avoiding this stress factor for workers.

The TYA-432 Solid State Relay from Jumo is especially suitable for switching non-contact loads with alternating current (resistive-inductive) with a high switching frequency, particularly in the plastic packaging and food, air conditioning industries. , heating technology and construction of industrial ovens.
