We found out our team here at F.Fonseca is not really picky:
Anything but socks and pajamas (tip for the family) and an envelope with a little money is always welcome.
Moral of the story: Buying gifts for them is super easy and you don’t even need to spend a lot of money (unless you mean to gift an envelope full of cash), we offer you some tips to organize your gift shopping list.

Make a list

It's a great feeling to give gifts to the people we care about (and we all like to give the best gift possible). However, it often happens that when we are Christmas shopping for other people, we end up buying things for ourselves.
This year, make a list of how much you want to spend in total, divide that money among the various people and try to stay within those limits as much as possible.
Secret Santa – your personal finances best friend

It is very likely that you have already participated in one of these: a group of friends or colleagues get together and decide "at random" who will give gifts to who, in the group, and also set a budget for the gift.
This is a great way to save money because you only have to buy one gift, but everyone will get something from someone else.
DIY (Do It Yourself)

Do you remember that kindergarten teacher who told you that you were very good at crafts? And those art classes where you burned yourself 50 times with a soldering iron to add an LED to the circuit? Or any other novelty that is now in vogue…
The time has come to put these skills into action!
A cheap and very interesting way to save money this Christmas is to make the gifts yourself, which will save you a lot of money as well as have a different meaning for your friends and family.

You know that loyalty card you’ve never used? Now’s the time

Loyalty card offer, most of the time, really good deals and promotions from the stores that have them.
If you got one just because, now’s the time look at all they offer and maybe save some money this Christmas.
Research the shop sites to see what advantages are associated to the card and make a table to plan and buy all you need in order to save as much money as possible.
Newsletters are your friends

A lot of brands offer their clients discounts when you subscribe to their newsletter for the first time. Visit the brands websites where you want to shop and see if you can get those discounts.
If you get something from all different websites, quickly you’ll save up money from the total you were going to spend.
Don’t give gifts to anyone

This is the last tip and as they say, we saved the best for last. Christmas should not be reduced to a time of excessive consumerism with no purpose other than "give because you have to". This Christmas, the best gift you can give is your time and attention to someone special.
There is no better gift than a moment well spent with someone special to us.

If you still aren’t motivated to buy something and want to grant someone’s wish of getting an envelope full of money, learn how to make an envelope to give someone, you just need to: print it, cut it out and stick it together... and don't forget to put some monye inside!!!
