WebSite Renováveis Magazine - F.Fonseca presents magazine F.Fonseca Automation Industrial, september 2018

The F.Fonseca magazine, with the latest innovations from leading industrial automation brands, is already available in paper and online versions at  www.ffonseca.com/downloads. In this edition the novelties are numerous. The main highlight is undoubtedly the new brand of F.Fonseca, the Techman Robot. In this edition, you will not only be able to read articles about the TM5, TM12, TM14 and TM-M collaborative robots, but also about the "Techman Robot Day" event that took place on September 20 and accomplish almost  hundred participants. Most of the other pages are dedicated to Sick, a market reference and exclusive F.Fonseca brand.   The new family of photoelectric sensors W16 and W26 is one of the innovations highlighted and proves that it is prepared for the challenges of the future, especially for applications where there may be many bright spots, many reflections and many vibrations. Intelligent control and monitoring of Man-Machine interfaces with Weintek Labs cMT Cloud HMI consoles also gain a prominent place in this communication, since in the era of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) links to field equipment, PLCs, I / Os, variable speed drives and other HMI, are as important as connectivity with the top management level, such as SCADAs, MES, ERP. Last but not least, the Murrplastik Trapholite recorder in the electric panel segment is the featured product. But many other brands are covered in this edition as Tpl Vision, Mitsubishi Electric, Solcon, Advantech, HMS, Murrelektronik, Rittal, Wieland Electric, among others.   As always this magazine is not only about products communication, services and solutions, but also regarding the human activities of F.Fonseca. These are highlighted with some of the recently promoted initiatives, like teambuilding activity and the talk with the incredible Paulo Azevedo! On that day we were reinforced by the message that "being difficult does not mean being impossible" and this message was so impacting that our training department decided to divulge it externally, becoming now part of F.Fonseca's training offer. On October 26th, the first public lecture will be held at F.Fonseca, so that everyone can access messages with this level of impact and, as a result, serve as a catalyst in personal and / or professional of each one. Sign up for the F.Fonseca website and you will not regret it.

Website Robótica - F.Fonseca presents new possibilities for HMS industrial wireless solutions

HMS features a new and updated version of the popular Anybus Wireless Bridge. The Anybus Wireless Bridge II supports reliable wireless communications, up to 400 meters and can communicate via Bluetooth or WLAN. It is ideal for replacing Ethernet cabling in locations that are difficult to access, dangerous or where it is impossible to install.   Replacing the cable or access point With the implementation of Anybus Wireless Bridge II, automation engineers are able to achieve new and smarter infrastructures for their networks. Frequently used as an Ethernet cable replacement (like point-to-point communication), the Wireless Bridge II can also be used as an access point for several WLAN / Bluetooth nodes such as smartphones or tablets. In this process we achieved great savings thanks to reduced use of Ethernet cabling.   What's new? The new Anybus Wireless Bridge II supports greater range in the wireless network (400 meters) and has included in its construction an even more powerful wireless antenna. The Wireless Bridge II is easy to set up, either by buttons or through the new integrated web interface.   Network Troubleshooting for System Integrators By connecting industrial devices and networks over a wireless connection, the Anybus Wireless Bridge II makes life easier for system integrators and automation engineers who sometimes need to create connections through high-risk areas, difficult access or mobile installations where cables are not desirable. Anybus Wireless Bridge II is a proven solution for establishing communications in the most common industrial networks such as PROFINET, EtherNet / IP, BACnet / IP and Modbus TCP, providing users with robust, maintenance-free wireless connectivity.   This gateway is suitable for application in all industries.

Website O electricista - F.Fonseca presents non-contact safety sensors STR 1 Sick

A wealth of experience opens up a new dimension for safety switches: The STR 1 is the new star of the switching universe! Traveling to a new galaxy demands thorough preparation and extensive planning. The objective has been set: To discover a transponder safety switch with exceptional performance. The equipment is on board: Over 50 years of experience in the field of safety sensors, an established product range backed up by a worldwide service network, and Sick’s quality guarantee as a market leader. The result: the STR1. Mission accomplished! The Sick´s STR 1 transponder safety switch has monitored semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) and can be safely connected either individually or in series. It can be used for applications where a high level of manipulation protection is required. The STR 1 is available with three codes. Universally coded sensors accept all actuators. An actuator must be taught into both the uniquely coded and permanently coded variants; this is the only actuator that the STR 1 then accepts. The sensor has three active sensor surfaces. The actuator comes in three different sizes. This allows the STR 1 to offer maximum mounting flexibility.

New brand - Collaborative robots/cobost from Techman Robot

Techman Robot and F.Fonseca Partnership to Explore the Market in Portugal and Accelerate New Opportunities in Automation.   F.Fonseca has obtained the rights for the distribution for Portugal of the TM Cobots from Techman Robot. This Taiwanese manufacturer develops and produces cobots which are equipped with integrated vision as standard. Cobots are relatively inexpensive, can be utilised in a plug & produce manner, feature user-friendly programming and can be used without safety provisions. As a result, cobots can work both next to people as well as with people. Cobots are increasingly being integrated in assembly lines, for machine loading and other applications. The TM 5 cobots are the first cobots which are equipped with integrated vision as standard and as a result differentiate themselves in this market from other manufacturers. With this “Smart” function, the Techman cobots are able to recognize patterns and colors, locate objects, read barcodes, etc. This makes the Techman cobots highly suitable for the performance of precise tasks within a high-mix, low-volume environment. F.Fonseca will sell the TM5 cobots to integrators and automation companies in Portugal. For this, support facilities will be set up at the head office of F.Fonseca in Aveiro for inventory, demonstrations, (online) training and service. Techman Robot has a strong parent company and invests a large portion of its turnover in R&D. Since the introduction of the first TM cobots, the manufacturer has experienced a doubling of the annual sales of these units. Techman Robot has selected F.Fonseca as a distributor on the basis of an extensive orientation and selection process. So far, the product portfolio includes two models, the TM5-700 that features a range of 700 mm and can carry a load of 6 kg and the lighter TM5-900, which can handle a maximum load of 4 kg with a range of 900 mm.
