Manutenção Website - F.Fonseca presents Frequency inverter FR-A800-E / FR-F800 from Mitsubishi Electric

Mitsubishi Electric is set to launch the latest addition to its FR-A800 and FR-F800 inverter drives in Europe this year. It is based on its FR-A800 and FR-F800 series variable speed drives with an integrated web server and 100Mbit Ethernet TCP/IP connectivity as standard. Ethernet connectivity as standard considerably lowers the cost of connecting this variable speed drive into an Ethernet TCP/IP environment. Engineers can use the Mitsubishi Electric FR‑Configurator2 software to search the network from a single location and easily identify connected FR-A800 and FR-F800 models. Direct Ethernet connection not only eliminates the cost of option cards, but also makes the set-up, monitoring and adjustment of parameters on an FR-A800-E more convenient. The integrated web server provides users with additional cost benefits by allowing them to fine-tune production settings and reduce downtime by connecting directly to the drive.  A standard web browser can be used to connect to the drive, either with an Ethernet cable, or remotely from anywhere in the world via a VPN. This connection enables convenient status monitoring and adjustment of the drive, as well as simplified diagnosis and improved response times for maintenance. Extending the FR-A800 and FR-F800 inverter series networking capability with on-board Ethernet as standard greatly increases the flexibility of the drive, as well as making connection to parallel networks simple. For example, users could select a dedicated industrial network protocol card to connect the drive into a wider automation network, and use the additional on-board Ethernet port for remote access or to link the drive to another device, such as a PC for quality control functions. Completing the almost universal connectivity options, compatibility with the latest 100Mb CC‑Link IE Field option is standard as well, in addition to the higher level Gigabit variants. The drive will also be launched with a dedicated App suitable for use with mobile devices including iPhones and iPads. The App will provide a wide range of control and monitoring options, from simple incremental forwards and backwards motor control - through to managing alarms and operating parameters remotely. The convenience this provides will be attractive for system builders, maintenance providers and end users while they are on the move, either on or off site.

The Radius ™ BZ1 is a rugged, transportable device that delivers the most autonomy on the market and is distinguished by new and unique alarm communication capabilities, connectivity and ease of use.   When an alarm event occurs, the Radius BZ1 ensures that workers in industrial environments not only know that the detector is on alarm, but also why, due to sound and visual signals.   The high volume of the audible alarms draw the attention of the workers, even in high noise environments. The large screen, visible even with direct sunlight, makes it easy to read critical information from a safe distance. Ultra-bright blue and red lights and different alarm tones help workers easily distinguish between critical and non-critical events. LENS Wireless is a peer-to-peer communication system that increases worker safety by sharing alarms and gas readings between detectors. LENS Wireless works without the need for settings automatically forming a network that does not require an installation, infrastructure or control unit. Gas readings pass from one detector to the next in order to ensure that hazards are communicated throughout the site. The ease of deploying and using the LENS Wireless wireless network helps workers respond faster and with real-time information when critical gas concentrations emergencies occur. The Radius ™ BZ1 design allows for easy maintenance thanks to intuitive, simple text navigation and the patent-pending SafeCore ™ module that can be removed. This module incorporates all critical parts such as sensors, software, pump and LENS Wireless. Security personnel can automatically perform reaction tests, calibrations, manage configurations and upgrade firmware through the DSX ™ Docking Station. The SafeCore module's interchangeable feature also allows equipment owners to have a smaller, rotating fleet to ensure continuous field monitoring. New IoT gateways from HMS allow industrial equipment to communicate with power grids. The Anybus SG-gateway family is designed for Smart Grid communication and specifically target Demand Response (networking of industrial electric loads) and Virtual Power Plants (networking of energy resources like biogas plants or combined heat and power units) applications.   All the Anybus SG-gateways support the communication protocols used in the energy sector, e.g. IEC60870-5-104, DNP3 and IEC61850s. In addition they also include Modbus TCP Client/Server and Modbus RTU Master/Slave functionality. They can also communicate with industrial fieldbus or industrial Ethernet networks such as Profibus, Profinet or any other industrial network thanks to Anybus technology.

Magazine Robótica nr. 107 – 2nd Quarter 2017

In robótica magazine nr. 107 issue F.Fonseca promotes in advertising and news format the new Smart Current Distribuition Mico Pro® from Murrelektronik. The return of the Steinel to F.Fonseca as of April 1, 2017 is the highlight of the industry news segment along with Sick's UC4 ultrasonic sensors.   In the dossier on water management and treatment F.Fonseca publishes a Sewerin technical article, dedicated to the maintenance of water networks - detection and localization of losses in residential and distribution networks.
