On 23 October 2025, F. Fonseca, in Aveiro, will be the meeting point for professionals in the fields of automation, maintenance, Information Tecnology (IT), Operacional Tecnology (OT), and industrial engineering, at a technical and informative event that promotes knowledge sharing, practical demonstrations, and debate on the latest solutions for industry.
At a time when industrial systems are increasingly interconnected, OT cybersecurity is no longer optional, but rather an essential requirement. This edition of Mitsubishi Solutions highlights crucial topics such as the importance of a less vulnerable architecture at machine level, the necessary precautions for interfaces between factory networks and IT systems, and mandatory compliance with the new NIS2 standards, especially for sectors now beginning this implementation phase.
The morning will open with a panel discussion dedicated to OT cybersecurity, exploring best practices and key insights for all those working, directly or indirectly, with network-connected industrial environments.
Throughout the afternoon, the focus will be on practical case studies and concrete solutions from Mitsubishi Electric, with particular emphasis on the integrated security features of the MR-J5 servomotors with EtherCAT communication, and on the new generation of PLC MX-F controllers with built-in cybersecurity functionalities, such as integrated firewalls, access control, protocol management, and encryption.
With dedicated moments for the showroom, live demonstrations, and networking with specialists, this second edition of Mitsubishi Solutions is consolidating its position as a landmark event for those who want to be at the forefront of safe, reliable, and innovative industrial automation.
Join us in Aveiro. Rethink the future and take ownership of the security and availability of your solutions.

In this technical session, we will carry out a practical demonstration with servomotors MR-J5, address integrated safety functions (SLS – Safe Limited Speed, SS1 – Safe Stop 1, and SS2 – Safe Stop 2), and explore communication via EtherCAT with a Beckhoff controller, as well as various practical applications in industrial environments with integrated safety.
Trainer:
Lluís Agulló - marketing manager, at Mitsibishi Electric.
In this technical session, we will address communication port restriction (per-port integrated firewall), access control list (ACL) by IP or MAC address, the disabling of unused protocols (e.g., FTP, SNMP, Web), and communication encryption via TLS (depending on the model).
Formador:
Bruno Silva - industrial automation technician, at F.Fonseca
