Level floaters - Kobold

In industrial and commercial tanking systems, the level of the tanks must be monitored continuously in most cases. The level within the tanks can be checked and controlled by means of various level sensors and level gauges. The filling of tanks and silos can be displayed at various points via different level indicators and can thus be monitored.

The use of modern float switches can be a good and simple solution to regulate the flow of fluids or to provide optimized refill requirements. It allows many areas to be easily automated and thus managed more quickly and easily.

Kobod float switch for level control.
Magnetic level switches are mainly used to measure liquid level in many diferent areas. However, if this is not possible because of the medium nature, for example, if the medium is so contaminated that it could obstruct the magnetic level switch, float switches are often used. Float switches and level switches can be used in many areas due to their simple adaptability. In general two float switches are used, one to operate as a minimum level switch and the other as a maximum level switch.

Thus, level control and level determination can be carried out without problems via such float switches.
The float comprises a hollow cylinder or a ball with integrated reed contact or micro switch. The switch is supplied as a changeover contact. The contact switches when the liquid passes above or below the horizontal float position.

The switch point is set by the side installation at the desired height, clamping it at the desired level.
