The previous solution for passing cables to the moving bridge was based on the use of an aerial steel cable, where the cable that powered and controlled the bridge moved in a bellows system. The installed system was frequently damaged and caused long and constant downtimes in the desander.
After analyzing the operating conditions and the problems to be solved, a solution based on a Murrplastik articulated cable drag chains was proposed.
The displacement of the bridge from end to end, in the order of 16 meters, required the use of guides for the articulated rail by means of aluminum side profiles and sliding guides, making the installation more robust and safer.

Two sets of MP3002.5 hinged rails were used, each 16 meters long and with their fixing terminals.
To route the articulated rail, due to the length of the total stroke, aluminum guides and their fixing and joining accessories were used.
The cables used are ultra-flexible, suitable for articulated trunking, UV-resistant and were properly routed and separated using the internal separators of the articulated trunking.
