Frequency inverter FR-A800-E / FR-F800 from Mitsubishi Electric

F.Fonseca presents frequency inverter FR-A800-E/FR-F800 from Mitsubishi Electric Mitsubishi Electric is set to launch the latest addition to its FR-A800 and FR-F800 inverter drives in Europe this year. It is based on its FR-A800 and FR-F800 series variable speed drives with an integrated web server and 100Mbit Ethernet TCP/IP connectivity as standard. Ethernet connectivity as standard considerably lowers the cost of connecting this variable speed drive into an Ethernet TCP/IP environment. Engineers can use the Mitsubishi Electric FR-Configurator2 software to search the network from a single location and easily identify connected FR-A800 and FR-F800 models. Direct Ethernet connection not only eliminates the cost of option cards, but also makes the set-up, monitoring and adjustment of parameters on an FR-A800-E more convenient. Extending the FR-A800 and FR-F800 inverter series networking capability with on-board Ethernet as standard greatly increases the flexibility of the drive, as well as making connection to parallel networks simple. For example, users could select a dedicated industrial network protocol card to connect the drive into a wider automation network, and use the additional on-board Ethernet port for remote access or to link the drive to another device, such as a PC for quality control functions. Completing the almost universal connectivity options, compatibility with the latest 100Mb CC‑Link IE Field option is standard as well, in addition to the higher-level Gigabit variants. The drive will also be launched with a dedicated App suitable for use with mobile devices including iPhones and iPads. The App will provide a wide range of control and monitoring options, from simple incremental forwards and backwards motor control - through to managing alarms and operating parameters remotely. The convenience this provides will be attractive for system builders, maintenance providers and end users while they are on the move, either on or off site. F.Fonseca promotes in October training on pneumatics

After successfully completing the initial action in February, F.Fonseca will organize more advanced Pneumatics training on October 20, 21, 27 and 28 in Aveiro. As in Pneumatics I, this course will be held at the headquarters of F.Fonseca and at the Technical Training Center of Renault Cacia where the trainees will have the opportunity to develop and apply their knowledge in pneumatic benches built for this purpose. After attending this training, participants will be able to assemble electro-pneumatic circuits from their schematics, regulate these circuits to the desired conditions and detect and repair faults in an electropneumatic circuit. All this in compliance with the recommended safety standards! This training lasts for 24 hours and is intended for technicians and maintenance managers, production operators, designers and all those interested in pneumatics. Soluções de segurança para colaboração inteligente homem-robot

A F.Fonseca apresenta um conjunto de soluções de segurança para colaboração inteligente homem-robot A colaboração Homem-robot (CHR) surge da necessidade de homens e máquinas automatizadas partilharem simultaneamente um mesmo espaço. Impulsionado pela Indústria 4.0, este modelo de colaboração promete processos de trabalho com um elevado grau de flexibilidade, máxima disponibilidade e produtividade da instalação, assim como elevada eficiência económica. Para este novo desafio é necessário utilizar a melhor tecnologia de segurança em cada aplicação de modo a garantir uma colaboração Homem-robot sem problemas. Um dos grandes temas da Indústria 4.0 é a flexibilização dos processos de trabalho; esta flexibilização, em casos extremos, pode chegar à fabricação de produtos únicos num contexto industrial de produção em massa. Nas fábricas inteligentes deste tipo, em que produtos e processos se fundem com tecnologias de comunicação e informação modernas, são usadas máquinas cada vez mais inteligentes e, consequentemente, mais autónomas. Paralelamente, a produção industrial regista um aumento significativo de interação entre o homem e a máquina, já que a combinação das capacidades humanas com a dos robots permite várias vantagens de produção tais como otimização do trabalho, melhoria da qualidade e melhor relação custo-eficácia. Ao mesmo tempo, as máquinas autónomas e, especialmente, as que interagem com o homem, requerem conceitos de segurança que flexibilizem os processos de produção de forma eficaz. Interação homem-robot: uma questão de tempo e espaço Com a chegada da Indústria 4.0, a interação colaborativa entre pessoas e máquinas passou a ser o foco da automatização industrial. Antes, até 90 por cento das interações eram regidas por dois cenários: coexistência e cooperação. Neste contexto, o tempo e o espaço são parâmetros básicos da interação. Uma situação de trabalho em que o homem e a máquina permaneçam ao mesmo tempo durante a interação em zonas coincidentes denomina-se coexistência. Um exemplo típico de coexistência seria uma zona de alimentação de peças com mesa giratória e uma cabina robotizada. O homem e a máquina trabalham ao mesmo tempo em áreas vizinhas cuja zona de separação se supervisiona, por exemplo, com uma barreira de segurança deTec4 Prime. Numa interação em que o usuário e a máquina partilham uma zona de trabalho comum, mas trabalham nela em tempos diferentes, estamos perante um cenário de cooperação. Uma situação de trabalho deste tipo seria, por exemplo, uma zona de transferência de um robot de montagem. Um operador coloca as peças numa mesa de trabalho ao mesmo tempo que, por exemplo, um scanner de segurança S3000 com vários campos de proteção simultâneos deteta o operador e reduz a velocidade do robot ou detêm o movimento potencialmente perigoso. No marco da Indústria 4.0, uma terceira forma de interação toma cada vez mais protagonismo: a colaboração homem-robot. Neste tipo de interação, ambos (homem e robot) partilham simultaneamente a mesma zona de trabalho. Um exemplo é uma plataforma móvel com um robot que manobra as peças num transportador ou palete e, depois de as transportar a uma estação de trabalho, apresenta-as e entrega-as ao operador ali presente. Nestes cenários de colaboração não são suficientes as soluções de segurança clássicas para coexistência e cooperação; neste caso, as velocidades e rotas dos robots terão que ser monitorizadas, limitadas e, se necessário, detidas em função do grau de perigo real, o que faz com que a distância entre homem e robot se converta no parâmetro decisivo de segurança. Figura 1. Coexistência. A análise de riscos como ponto de partida, também nos “cobots” Nenhuma colaboração homem-robot é igual a outra, pelo que é necessário realizar uma análise de riscos individual para cada aplicação CHR, mesmo na situação em que o robot utilizado tenha sido desenvolvido expressamente para interação com o homem. Estes robots, rebatizados de “cobots”, apresentam características de segurança intrínseca. Adicionalmente, o espaço de colaboração está sujeito a um conjunto de requisitos básicos, tais como garantir as distâncias mínimas de segurança a zonas limítrofes, permitindo evitar entalamentos, por exemplo. A base normativa para a segurança funcional das aplicações CHR baseia-se, por um lado, em normas gerais como a IEC 61508, a IEC 62061 ou a ISO 13849-1/-2; por outro lado, deve ter-se em conta a norma ISO 10218-1/-2 relativa à segurança para robots industriais e, especialmente, à especificação técnica ISO TS 15066 sobre robots colaborativos. Os integradores de sistemas robóticos devem não só comprovar que as medidas de construção previstas pelo construtor do robot estão em conformidade com as normas e funcionam corretamente, como também ter em conta os possíveis perigos ou riscos residuais. Neste aspeto, deve realizar-se uma análise de riscos do sistema robótico, as suas sequências de movimento e zona de colaboração prevista, segundo a EN ISO 12100, com o fim de extrair dos resultados de dita análise as correspondentes medidas de segurança, nomeadamente e por exemplo, a implementação do modo de colaboração adequado, segundo a ISO/TS 15066. Figura 2. Cooperação. Modos de funcionamento de segurança dos sistemas robóticos colaborativos Segundo esta especificação técnica é possível diferenciar quatro modos de funcionamento colaborativo. O modo “Paragem de segurança monitorizada” detém o robot para interagir com o homem; no modo “Guiamento manual” garante-se a colaboração entre homem e robot guiando o robot manualmente e de forma consciente com velocidade segura reduzida. No terceiro modo de colaboração - “Limitação de força e potência” - a segurança requerida é alcançada reduzindo a força, potência e velocidade do robot (por exemplo usando funções de limitação disponibilizadas pelo controlador de segurança) a um limite de carga biomecânico que garanta a inexistência de risco ou lesão do operador, independentemente de o contacto físico entre o robot e homem estar previsto ou não.   O quarto modo de colaboração denominado “Supervisão da velocidade e distância” adquire todo o seu sentido nos cenários de trabalho em que se requere uma grande flexibilidade, ou seja, no âmbito da Indústria 4.0 e nos processos de produção das fábricas inteligentes. Este modo baseia-se na supervisão contínua da velocidade e rota do robot, adaptando-as de forma contínua, sendo que o robot reduz a velocidade, pára ou modifica a sua rota se necessário. Quando a distância entre o operador e a máquina é superior à distância mínima, o sistema robótico pode continuar automaticamente os movimentos com a velocidade e as rotas habituais. Assim, a produtividade do robot restabelece-se imediatamente. Segurança funcional para a colaboração homem-robot: experiência, gama de produtos e implementação Entre os modos de colaboração especificados na norma ISO/TS 15066, o modo de Supervisão da velocidade e distância é o que oferece as maiores perspetivas em aplicações de colaboração homem-robot. Neste modo e nos cenários tradicionais ainda predominantes de coexistência e cooperação, é claro que os sensores e controladores de segurança enfrentam novos desafios para garantir que a colaboração entre homem-robot se desenrolará sem contratempos. A este facto há que adicionar que os requisitos de segurança da zona de trabalho comum são tanto maiores quanto maior seja o grau de colaboração das futuras situações de trabalho. A SICK, na qualidade de fabricante de soluções de sensores, controlo e sistemas de segurança funcional, e como fornecedor de serviços de segurança – que vão desde a análise de riscos, ao conceito de segurança, até à implementação da solução – conta com uma ampla experiência no desenho de aplicações robóticas seguras. Dispõe, adicionalmente, de uma vasta gama de sensores que foi evoluindo com os requisitos das aplicações de robótica, ao longo de várias décadas. Com as soluções de segurança cada vez mais inteligentes, baseadas em diferentes tecnologias, não deixam de surgir aplicações de colaboração homem-robot capazes de satisfazer requisitos cada vez mais exigentes. A colaboração homem-robot representa atualmente uma pequena percentagem de todas as aplicações com interação homem-máquina. Independentemente da interação necessária – coexistência, cooperação ou colaboração – os sensores de segurança tais como barreiras, scanners ou câmaras de segurança revelam-se uma parte vital da solução, permitindo ao robot desempenhar as funções para as quais foi projetado mantendo a segurança das pessoas que com ele interagem. As soluções inovadores para a segurança funcional das aplicações robóticas, como as que a SICK desenvolve e implementa, podem contribui para aumentar de modo significativo esta percentagem num futuro próximo.
