Absolute encoder AHS/AHM36 IO-Link - SICK
The AHS/AHM36 IO-Link absolute encoders set standards in mechanical adaptation, electrical connectivity and IO-Link communication. With their rotatable male connector or cable connection as well as the various mounting hole patterns and adapter flanges, these encoders are suitable for nearly any application.
The IO-Link interface enables economical encoder integration into Ethernet and fieldbus networks. The configuration of the encoder can be adjusted individually via the SOPAS engineering tool from Sick or the IO-Link master. The rugged, reliable, fully magnetic sensor system provides a maximum resolution of 12 bits for the singleturn variant and maximum 24 bits for the multiturn variant.

With a high resolution of 18 bits (AFS60 Inox) or 30 bits (AFM60 Inox) and a large selection of programmable parameters, the AFS60 Inox absolute singleturn encoder and the AFM60 Inox absolute multiturn encoder set new standards when it comes to stainless-steel encoders.
The high resolution, the high IP enclosure rating, and the stainless-steel housing enable use in applications under harsh ambient conditions. The encoders are equipped with the SSI interface while the AFM60 Inox is also available with the SSI + Incremental and SSI + Sin/Cos combined interfaces. Both encoders can be programmed using the PC-based programming device PGT-08-S or the hand-held programming device PGT-10-Pro.
