Photoelectric sensor DeltaPac - SICK
For higher efficiency and quality in the packaging industry, the DeltaPac MultiTask photoelectric sensor utilizes Delta-S-Technology®, which combines four PinPoint emitters and two receivers with SIRIC® and distance measurement technology.
The photoelectric sensor detects object contours with radii between 1 and 20 mm – independent of the direction and irrespective of the object’s surface color –with the highest level of immunity to active and passive interference. The operating distance is between 30 and 40 mm to the front edge of the object. This means that packages do not need to be manually separated. Collisions are avoided. For better space and time utilization. The DeltaPac provides information about how many packages are present in the process for full production monitoring. The photoelectric sensor is available as a pre-configured device for fast and error-free commissioning. IO-Link, which is also available, enables tailored configuration and adaptation to match the desired application.

Photoelectric sensor G10 – SICK
Sensors are often used together. This is especially true for applications in the logistics and machine building industries. Consequently, time-saving mounting solutions are becoming more and more important.
The G10 photoelectric sensor from SICK and the Q-Lock mounting system combine quick installation with a rugged design, maintenance-free operation and reliable object detection.
One thing is safe to say, thanks to the Q-Lock system designed by SICK, the G10 family of optical sensors are mounted at the ‘speed of light’, as fast on a bar clamp system as on a sheet clamp, working on a matter of seconds. The ‘hawk eye’ of the G10 makes no concessions and detects exactly what it’s meant to see, without interference from dirt and optical reflexions.

Proximity inductive sensor IDF - SICK
Detecting double layers in film stack processes, e.g. in battery production, is a huge challenge. The new IDF double film sensors reliably detect whether a suction gripper has picked up one or several films and ensure that the unwanted double film is immediately sorted out.
Due to its small size, the sensor can be integrated directly into the gripper. In addition, in contrast to other solutions, the IDF does not need a receiver unit. It thus detects the films as soon as they are picked by the gripper, so only from one film side. This speeds up the process times.
Teaching-in different films is done in mere seconds, and can be performed either by teach-in via a cable or via IO-Link.
