Providing protection from hazardous movement in addition to creating more efficient and flexible machine designs: SICK´S Drive Monitor FX3-MOC is the ideal expansion module for the Flexi Soft safety controller for use in drive monitoring. Monitoring can be performed using functions such as speed and direction monitoring and the execution of stop functions in accordance with IEC 61800-5-2. All commonly used encoder interfaces are supported. The Drive Monitor FX3-MOC has programmable logic with special drive modules. It can be integrated via all common fieldbuses into a higher-level controller in combination with the Flexi Soft safety controller. It is possible to import pre-defined applications, thus greatly simplifying the engineering of standard safety applications. Integration into the Flexi Soft safety controller provides important solutions for tool machine, robotic, and mobile applications.

Safety locking devices flexLock - SICK

The flexLock safety locking device with RFID monitoring, from SICK, is characterized by an infinitely variable actuation radius of 180°. It thus offers a high level of flexibility for the safety locking function of doors and flaps – even with small door radii.
 
The clearly visible LEDs show the device status continuously at all viewing angles. The open locking head and the rounded housing of the flexLock allow for easy cleaning.

Safety Mirror and device columns - SICK

Free choice of space for the safety: Mirror and device columns from SICK are used in applications where it is difficult to mount optoelectronic protective devices. Used together, mirror and device columns are the ideal solution to protect multi-sided areas in machining centres or material transfer applications.

The optoelectronic devices can be mounted to freestanding device columns to ensure hazardous areas are properly safeguarded. Mirror columns are used in conjunction with device columns to deflect the beam
from the sender to the receiver. Since multiple sides of a machine can be protected with a single pair of devices, the overall wiring is reduced. In addition to reliable device protection, the device columns have two external mounting grooves, which enable muting arms to be installed.

Single-beam photoelectric safety switch L41 - SICK

Single-beam photoelectric safety switches from SICK offer maximum safety performance. They comprise self-testing senders and receivers or testable senders and receivers combined with an evaluation unit. They have long ranges and come in a variety of types and sizes. They comply with Type 2 and/or Type 4 in according with EN 61496, and PL c and/or PL e in according with EN ISO 13849.
